Gate camping is of the most ordinary things in eve.

Using Mobile Bubles:

You may use a mobile sucking buble placed in between two gates within 150km range of one of the gates and you can start camping the edge of the buble where your targets will drop in at your optimum. You need a fast lock on your target to point/scram, and you need to be faster then him to keep it tackled or you need to be able to kill him before he reach the gate or he warps out.

I can scan scan your mobile buble if it is in my scan range, that is 14.4 au. So you want your mobile to be placed on a gate not scannable from other gates, if you cant do it you need to go look for a suitable system. 

Also if theres planets around you, im smart i can warp to that planet first, and make a scan for mobiles/bublers.

If there is a dictor, you can see his warp disruption probe in scanner.

If theres a hic on gate, no way you can know if it has buble up or down unless you have a 200km+ bookmark at that gate.

Camp a 3-4 jump pipe, place a scout 1-2j ahead and maybe another 3-4j ahead wher u camp, online your mobile buble and clear the system. Count your timer and jumpin, your victim will not suspect to warp to your bubled gate if local is clear.

Using bublers:

So you decided to camp a gate and you have a bubler(dictor/hictor). 

If i would jump on a gatecamp with a bubler on it, what i would do is to hold my cloak for 10 seconds to let the session timer to vanish, set my destination backwards and then i mwd approach the gate(activate any DCII or tank mod), and activate my autopilot for an instant jump. Or i would just align to a celestial and cloak and hope u cant decloak me.

So to catch me in your gang you need some countermeasures for my running tactics.

1. Decloaking ceptor.

Ceptor with mwd,nanofit and scram.

Lets say i jumped in to your camp, you have a buble up. I am in an arazu, i align somewher and cloak.

What you should do in your ceptor is, hold zero speed at gate and wait for me to decloak. Keep your mwd activated as soon as i enter local, but be at zero speed. When you see me decloak, do not try to lock, u had your intel that i was in a cloaker, so what you will try to do is to decloak my ship:

As soon as you see me on your overview select my ship and hit approach, your ceptor is agile, it will align faster then any other ship, and then you hit your max speed through the small white triangle  where you see your speed in m/s.  And now you are on top of me. Good job.

Also let your gang members assist fast drones on your decloaking ceptor it will help to decloak your victim.

2. Fast lock/scram/webber

arazu or lachesis with 2 sensor boosters or an AF or few ceptors with scram web.

3. Enough dps to kill me in few seconds

4. Always select a tackler to hold his aggression, let someone be in your fleet ready to jump back with the guy who just jumped back. You can always catch him on other side. Also you can tell the dictor to jump in after he launch his buble, but if anyone tries to warp out or warp to that gate you are camping from somewhere else, your dictor will be aggressed and it cant jump.

If i shoot a ship, eve mechanichs assign me as aggressed and i can not jump for like 30 seconds even i really want to run from the blob that just jumped in. 

5. Use the uber delayed buble technique.

Ok, so i jumped in your camp. I panicked, i didnt check what ships u have camping me and tried to warpout and cloak. When i hit warp, i decloak, you can see me on ur scanner and your overview for 1-2 seconds. As soon as you see me on scanner or overview, tell your dictor to buble up, you will cut off my warp and my ship speed will go to zero. This delayed buble will let your decloaking tackler to decloak me and boom im dead.
